Space
Vector is also well known as a manufacturer of specialty
guidance and control flight hardware for spinning and guided
rockets. SVC has built over 1000 Miniature Inertial
Digital Attitude System (MIDAS) platforms for various customers.
Other subsystems manufactured at Space Vector and flown
extensively include the cold gas, adjustable Attitude Control
System (ACS), the zero-g Rate Control System (RCS), the
Magnetic ACS and the integrated Advanced Guidance Control
System (AGCS).
SVC is
a leader in providing electrical interface units to perform
the complete task of communication between today's digital
flight computers and the launch vehicles thrust vector control
units, attitude control systems, ordnance and other rocket
devices (modern or decommissioned, digital or analog).
SVC has also provided a wide assortment
of nose fairings, motor adapters, skirt/fin assemblies, payload
support modules and associated support and test equipment. |
