Director
of Booster/Missile Avionics
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Space Vector is seeking an experienced and motivated leader for their booster avionics group. This is a growing team that assists in the design, development and launch of booster/launch vehicles for military and commercial markets. Selected candidate will manage a team of highly competent, experienced launch vehicle engineers, designing, developing and integrating avionics on our vehicle programs:
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements: 10+ years experience, BS in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace or Software) Avionics Integration experience (sensors, processor, software, TM, etc) Guidance and Control (G&C), Systems experience (ICD, power budget, requirements analysis, etc), Electronics knowledge, Fluid with analysis tools (MatLAB, Excel, MathCAD, etc) , Missile/Launch/Boost vehicle experience
Desirable competences: MS degree in related field. Inertial Navigation system and sensor knowledge. Linear and Non-Linear Control System Analysis. Attitude Control experience. Signal processing, digital filtering and Kalman Filter knowledge. GPS. Basic RF. Software experience with C/C++.
Security Clearance: Requires US citizen ship and ability to acquire a secret clearance. Existing secret clearance not required.
