(Chatsworth, CA 12 October 2008) – Space Vector Corporation was recently awarded a contract from the United Launch Alliance (ULA) to design and fabricate GPS tracking units for the Atlas V and Delta IV family of launch vehicles. We are very pleased to be working with ULA and the Air Force in developing GPS tracking units for EELV, said Tim Gray, Space Vector Engineering Vice President. We have been implementing GPS on target vehicles since 1996 and are looking forward to adapting our experience to the large launch vehicles. The contract consists of four distinct phases (design, development, qualification, and production) that will be performed over the next year and a half.
