(Chatsworth, CA 1 March 2011) – Space Vector Corporation has just completed consolidating its operations into a single building located at 9174 Deering Avenue in Chatsworth. This consolidation co-locates our engineering group with our fabrication and assembly operations. This was also an opportunity for us modernize our electronic assembly area, battery/cell test facility, and GPS/GN&C development laboratories, complete with a new Spirent GSS8000 L1/L2 GPS Simulator.

Other improvements include a larger environmental test area to increase throughput, separate machine shop area to confine FOD (Foreign Object Debris), enclosed pneumatics lab, and separate conformal coat room.

"The entire facility, from the stock room to the test labs, has been designed to improve efficiency and implement Six Sigma LEAN practices. Our customers will benefit directly from our faster delivery and improved quality." noted Frank Bednarik, Director of Operations.
